Each video contains up-to-date content. Discovery Education Streaming is a great site for any educator who is looking for additional resources when teaching a specific concept or an entire unit. Discovery Streaming has to be purchased by your district. You need a passcode in order to log in to the website. 3. Google Earth: http://earth.google.com Google Earth can virtually take you and your students anywhere! This amazing site lets users view and explore satellite imagery from anywhere in the world. Often people refer to Google Earth as a virtual globe. Google Earth is a fascinating teaching tool. Student interest and engagement while using Google Earth is unbelievable. Students can get a wonderful feel for the location of different places, the geography of the land and layouts of different communities and cities. If you haven't tried Google Earth, mention it to your students. I'm sure they can be your guide. Grade Level:All educators, parents, students, grades 2-12
